From the beginning in 1946 at Rolph Road School when the LBA was started through the efforts of Phil Stein, Howard Talbot, Trace Manes and others, to the present, thousands of youngsters have had the chance to play the great summer game in Leaside. There is much of which to be proud. Over the years Leaside teams have won many Toronto and Ontario Championships. While other Junior leagues folded, the Greater Toronto - Leaside Junior League continued to flourish and is today considered to be one of the best in the province. Our association brought Senior baseball back to Toronto in 1968 and ever since the Leaside Leafs have been a consistently successful team. First and foremost, however, has always been the wish to provide opportunity for kids in our community to play organized baseball in a safe, effectively managed program. Our motto continues to be, "Help us help kids to play ball." A Member of VICommunity, Powered by www.visportsclub.com , QCTI - QC Technolopgies Inc.
