House League registrations fill up quickly every year! Due to field permits and resource limitations, we will not be able to accommodate all interested families. As such, we recommend registering quickly after the registration window opens to ensure your child's spot!
House League Philosophy
The core philosophy of Leaside Baseball House League is to help players learn the game and develop their skills in a safe, positive, inclusive, and fun environment.
The objective is for players to have fun while they build on the basics they learn throughout the season. Children should not be subjected to fierce competition or intense pressure to perform. House Leagues are intended to provide instruction in the fundamentals of baseball and to emphasize sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play.
Having fun is of the utmost importance. Coaches and parents should provide encouragement, use a supportive teaching approach, and model positive behaviour for all players.
Learning Through FUN!
Our house league program is run by the same exceptional staff of coaches and counsellors that work at our Summer Camp and Development Clinics. Players get the benefit of fun, engaging, and really cool baseball skill development during the gameplay. At the best moment, they’ll be taught how to throw and catch, bat, and where to position in the field. Coaching and playing at the same time, best opportunity to develop and grow their love for the sport.
2025 Mosquito ("Atom") House League
The Leaside Baseball Association (LBA) will be hosting the Atom league at Trace Manes for 2025.
Registration for 2025 Atom House League players (born 2013, 2014 & 2015) will happen through the LBA registration site on Tuesday, January 7th at 10am!

Financial Assistance
The Leaside Baseball Association provides an opportunity for players in Leaside and the surrounding community to develop their skills and passion for baseball by offering a wide spectrum of quality baseball instruction and programming. To make this more feasible for youth who otherwise wouldn’t be able to enjoy the sport, we are proud to offer a financial assistance program. Leaside Baseball is committed to an equitable baseball experience for all of our families.
If you would like your child(ren) to participate in our programming and wish to seek financial assistance, please apply to our Playball Financial Assistance fund. All information remains confidential.
