Lee Mosbaugh | Elite Camp Director
Baseball is Lee’s driving passion and Leaside Baseball Camp is truly his home away from home! Lee has played baseball for over 20 years at the rep, elite, and collegiate levels where he learned from many of Canada’s top coaches and baseball minds. He's a graduate of the Sport Management Program at Humber College. Lee brings a fun and enthusiastic attitude to the ballpark every day, with the hope to continue to inspire a love for the game! This is Lee’s 4th year as Camp Director and his 9th year with the camp! He also is the Head Coach of the Leaside Leafs 15U team.
Sam Brown | Elite Camp Senior Staff
Sam had completed his final year at Leaside High School. Sam, always a stand-out Leaside player since 6U, has played a year in Leaside up since his 13U year , and will be entering his second year playing at the 18u age group in 2021. An adept infielder, he can play anywhere on the diamond with an elite glove and strong arm, complimenting an elite contact bat with ever-emerging power, showcased by his 1.024 OPS, league lead in RBIs (42), and EBLO All-Star nomination in 2019. Sam has thorough coaching experience in the Leaside Baseball Association at both the Leaside Baseball Camp & Elite Camp, Fall Outdoor, and Winter Dome Clinics. A model citizen, Sam is by far the most dedicated and humble player in Leaside Baseball.
Gabe Bourgeois | Elite Camp Senior Staff
Gabe goes to Seneca College to study firefighting. Previously with the Scarborough Stingers and Toronto Mets program, this speedy outfielder/infielder joined the Leaside Leafs Elite 18U program for 2019-20. He represented Canada in the 16U Oklahoma Sunbelt Classic tournament in 2018 and was a key reason the Leaside 18u program won the fall ball championship in 2019. Gabe is a humble five-tool player with the potential for a strong collegiate playing career ahead of him.
Graham Henry | Elite Camp Senior Staff
Graham goes to Laurier University to study Communications and Management. As the starting catcher for the Leaside Leafs Elite 18U program since his 16U year, including being an underaged back-to-back EBLO All-Star representative, 2018 TBA Champion, and 2019 Fall Ball Champion, Graham knows what it takes to compete at a high level. His leadership on and off the field compliments his strong bat, blocking, receiving, and throwing skills, while his dedication to learning the game has developed him into a strong pitcher and infielder as well. Graham has helped out with younger Leaside catchers, worked at the Elite camp in 2019, and the East York camp prior; he adds valuable exposure to players with intro and advanced catching instruction.
Sam Kerr | Elite Camp Senior Staff
Sam has completed his final year at John Polyani Collegiate Institute. Sam came to the Leaside Leafs Elite 17U program from the North York Blues, where he tallied 1 no-hitter and 1 one-hitter. Touching 80mph for the first time in February, Sam’s potential on the mound projects for an exciting 18U year in 2020-21. He has coached previously with True North Baseball Camp and is also a level 2 umpire. Sam’s passion for learning and dedication to training has turned out a strong leader and developing pitching specialist.
Ryan Ricci | Elite Camp Senior Staff
Ryan has completed his final year at John Polyani Collegiate Institute. A two-time EBLO All-Star, Ryan is a power-hitting catcher/corner infielder for the Leaside Leafs Elite 17U team. Ryan projects to be a top hitter in the league after posting a 1.114 OPS in 2019; in fact, as a 16U call-up for a game with the 18u program in the Elimination tournament, Ryan’s single at-bat was a no-doubt home run off a top 18U pitcher. In addition to helping facilitate tryouts for younger Leaside teams, Ryan and his dad (Claudio) have been a staple presence in field maintenance at Talbot Park, demonstrating Ryan’s exemplary character off the field.
